Interesting talk from a Aaron Brickman about Elliot Wave cycles, and previous financial shocks and what we might expect in October.

Great summary of modern days slavery.
Thanks for sharing.
Does anybody believe in honest elections after this?
There is no way that banksters will let us choose to be or not to be their slaves.

Is this it for Europe for a while? With BASF shutting down due to lack of energy, and great difficulty in starting back up, if there were adequate energy supplies, are things really kaput?

Yeah! Labor shortage, for sure, will cause a deflation!
They’ve lost me right there.
LMAO!

Wait.

He said:
"We have a market today ...which feels superficially like 2000...It's going to play out initially like 2000, and unfortunately is going to phase, as he suggests, into the 70's...
where the deflationary effects on the economy and the stock market will result in a world where like the 70's, all assets are simply much lower in price than they are today..."

Currently house prices and used car prices are falling... and bulk lay offs are increasing. Is the former a symptom?, and the latter a cause for deflationary pressure?

From wiki... which I often mistrust says : (Among other reasons) "Deflation usually happens when .....demand is low (when consumption decreases)"
"Another related idea is Irving Fisher's theory that excess debt can cause a continuing deflation."

A crumbling economy and nose-diving employment seems, to me, to be a catalyst for plummeting demand, no?

Wiki describes inflation as a reduction of value over time, but deflation as, often, a shock...which can worsen recessions.

" What worries me are the longer term arguments for inflation: which is one, we are running out of people..."

Don't know, it's going to be interesting. I heard a similar outlook similar to what was proposed above in the 90s, but it was done at the wrong decade, the timing was off. I think we see now a greater distress in labor, commodities, and debt. There are two big controversies on economic boards: hyper inflation or deflation like the 1930s? I don't know, I'm sure government and eggheads are trying to tweak the economy to their liking. If I knew where the market was going, I'd be rich. But I do know at the end of a cycle or super cycle, there is always war, due to economic upheaval.

I've heard different interpretations of Kondratieff Waves and there are also super cycles which are especially traumatic, and often understood to be where we are at right now in the Western world. Regardless on whether the Kondratieff is true or not, I think cycles are there, but they are much easier to analyze in the past.

A girl was singing in the church choir...

A girl was singing in the church choir
About all ships that have gone to the sea,
About people joyless and tired
Who left long ago and never were seen.

Her voice was flying right to the dome,
And on her white shoulder the ray did beam,
And everyone looked and listened from
The dark how th'white gown sang in the beam.

And all believed in the happy end,
That all ships luckily crossed the seas,
And all tired people in foreign land
Finally found some rest and ease.

Her voice was sweet and the ray was bright,
And only one child did weep and mourn,
There, at the Holy Door, in the height,
That nobody will ever return.

That seems odd . . . are eggs something that people would normally stockpile? :ROFLMAO:

I mean, maybe you get the occasional bloke with a freeze-drier, but other than that it just seems kinda silly. :ROFLMAO:
