Check out Seattle Traffic cameras.
I've never seen the streets like that, ever.

like it was 40-45 years ago (almost.) I can remember when I was a kid strolling across I-90 on M.I. after dinner to go play pin-ball at the bowling alley.

I can remember stopping on the narrows bridge in the evening and getting out to look over the side without a single car passing in either direction as a kid. As a teen I can recall friends ds stopping and tossing road barricades off just to watch the flashing orange light dissapear into the water. No cars bothered them.

But the last time it was this quiet was 9/11. Strange to think back on all I have seen in my 42 years.

I drove from Bellevue to Northgate, via the 520 at 430 this afternoon. That trip can easily take you two hours on a Friday. Today it was 20min and I never had to even let off the throttle. It was Freakin Awesome!

Lightest Friday traffic ever! I even saw some people respecting the left lane as a passing lane!
