Money grab...

We would need an entire agency tasked with making sure they were 'carefully composted', and then determining they were 'safe' would be another arm; and then investigating every whacko complaint that gets called in about dead bodies in the back yard....and....of course....a legal arm to enforce it all....

The government is always thinking of ways to expand control, and get more money to grow, and it now wants a piece of the pie when we bury the dead, under the guise of helping the environment, and our garden :timeout:

Ahhh, we're all just compost to them anyway.

Why do I think JP has already started on this....?

Oh shit, here we go.

My point is, there are laws against using human waste compost on gardens. Have been for many decades.

Makes you wonder why they are suddenly talking about composting dead bodies.

Are they expecting a lot of human corpses to have to be disposed of sometime soon?

I was punning.

But yeah, they say ornamentals only.

Thanks Steven King.

Good thing our leaders are working hard on pressing issues.

Hey, being able to use pink camouflage while hunting is very pressing.

Right! And the prions will linger in the soil and even be taken up by the fauna that grows there, which is a vector for transmission when herbivores eat those plants.

Set for the year 2022.

Issue in Soylent Green was human remains going into food that humans would eat.

If biosludge (human remains) is allowed to be flushed into the sewer system, and then collected at waste treatment centers to be sold as fertilizer, aren't we doing the same thing in essence as Soylent Green?

Vegetables should not be fertilized with mammals. Especially carnivores/omnivores. It doesn't turn out well.

Remeber *nature*? Even omnivores don't do well with certain"foods".

It's ok though. The State Science Institute will tell us what's right.
