Dude is wrong on so many levels.
State constitution absolutely can override federal constitution - It can be more protective.
In WA both DUI checkpoints and pretext stops are unconstitutional, but upheld under the federal constitution. By his logic, since USSC ruled them legal, they're legal in WA. They're not, as it's covered under state constitution.
