That is a peace time knife.... The swiss developed a great knife like that while they twiddled their thumbs, guys like Jim Bowie developed real fighting knives.

Victorinox makes top notch knives. That model is official Swiss Army utility knife. I had one of those. Prefer my Huntsman model. It’s lighter, has more tools. It’s a part of my EDC. Accompanied with Glock Feldmesser FM 78, KA-BAR Kukri Machete and Kershaw JYD II it’s a great SHTF set of blades.

I will never trade my Swiss Victorinox for a dozen of “Proudly made in the USA with global (Chinese) materials” or even Chinese-made Leathermans.
