I agree almost 90+%. There just really is not much REAL racism left in the USA. And most of that is just stupid backlash to enhanced stupidity like the $50 lack 'o melanin charge.

After spending a lot of time overseas, I have seen real racism. Japan for instance, try getting into an upper class bar as a white guy. Not going to happen. Try being mixed race Japanese, you're pretty much screwed from birth. Being a black American in Africa is an open invitation to getting an ass whoopin'. My Japanese FIL was the most openly racist man I ever met. He tolerated whites. Barely. If you were hard working, literate and intelligent. From there he had a ranking. We (7 white people who went out to dinner during a lacrosse tournament in BC) had the same racism against us. Richmond BC is like 70% chinese now, not American Chinese, the real deal.

Ignored in the lobby by hostess, finally after demanding to speak to the manager at this high end Chinese restaurant, HE finally seated us, (not the hostesses)

For 20 min, China ignored us until I got the managers attention again. He cursed out two waitresses in front of us in Mandarin and then suddenly we got served.

We were the only white people in this high end Chinese restaurant and we got a lot of "nancy" looks.
