A Seattle judge is upset about the growing problems in the homeless camp next to Seattle City Hall (but oblivious to the damage to the city overall?)
Following a fatal stabbing -those damned knives - he is calling for
action:"He’s now wondering if this homicide will finally force the city to act."
No comment about the conduct and culpability of him or his judicial colleagues, go figure.
“I don’t want to be in a position of blaming somebody, but all I want is action. That’s all I want,” says Rogers"
See... helping to make Seattle safer... well that's for someone else to do:
"I shouldn’t be working on making sure nobody gets stabbed on the way to the King County courthouse. that should not be part of my job description,” says Rogers."
The solution is finding somewhere (else) for the criminals to live.
"The judge says he’s encouraged the King County Council is working with the city and trying to find housing for people living at the park." (presumably, away from where he works)
