Bad News: VW Jetta is in shop to get the A/C fixed. It blows hot air and the Texas summer is here in full swing now. We need to replace the compressor. The cost is estimated at *drum roll please* $2700 My much hoped for B&T APC9 Pro purchase will have to wait till next year. Well at least we have cash on hand for an expensive A/C repair and don't have to draw into savings. Plus we'll get to enjoy cool air in the Jetta all summer (and hopefully for many more). The a/c repair bill sure beats buying a new car since the diesel engine in the Jetta should last a helluva long time yet. Perfect...see, fate is obviously giving you some extra time to come to your senses and choose a TMP instead. Yes... patience is a virtue after all Also this way I will eventually be able to drive to the range with my suppressed APC9 or TMP/TP9 in air-conditioned style

Need some PT and work through it. Congratulations Pablo. You skipped a step ahead since surgery would have required PT anyway...right?

Good news: had a stellar day catching at Riffe Lake with three limits of nice big fat fish. Bad news: my back is just killing me. Sleeping with Prince Valium tonight.

Fishing is rough on my back too. I have to constantly remind myself to 'straighten up' or I pay the price. What kind of fish? Trout?

Need some PT and work through it. One side effect of retirement is that I am physically more active now than when working at a high stress job. So that's taken a toll on my body but the Chiropractor keeps everything aligned every two weeks. That and the 5 Tibetan stretches help the back too. I've had more issues though, bursitis twice on each elbow, and now bursitis on the ball of my foot (Probably from crappy hiking shoes and hiking 5 days a week) Getting older doesn't help either.

Good news is: Injections for my kidneys seem to be working. Good numbers going up bad number going down.
Bad news is: I’m still too fat to wear my favorite belt.
