I'd suggest doing so would make this more managable to read. Much the bigger part of it concerns AR 15 topics, and it can be a chore to slog through for those looking for pistol and other rifle opportunities

I think the simplest solution is to visit the site at least once a day.
Good deals go fast.
If you don’t check in regularly you will most likely never find what your looking for.

Which kinda illustrates my next point...

The more forums you have, the more things are put into the wrong forum, and the more hassle you have -- in my opinion. For example, if we were to implement the OP's suggestion, where would you go to list a red dot sight for sale? "AR Accessories" or "Non-AR Accessories"? Would we need a third forum, "Accessories that fit both ARs and non-ARs"?

I know, it's difficult.

I went to the bathroom and when I came back I hit reload and some smoking deal was posted and gone in 30 seconds!

This is why the old guys like Rick don't get very many good deals.

No, "view active topics" is different, on the upper left side of the screen.

I always use "view unread posts." I want to see the threads that I haven't seen yet, no matter which section they are in.

"View active topics" will show you the deals too, but only after everyone has has jumped in to grab them.
