This is a fixture I made to see what exactly the hammer and sear where doing (or not doing)
For an H & R Sportsman 22 cal double action revolver.
It Is Not a stoning jig.
It’s just a tool that allows you to see the sear and hammer engagement without having to put them into the gun.
Delrin blocks. One for the hammer and sear and one to help with re assembly. Also two slave pins.
I had a gun where the single action notch would not lock the hammer back.
This fixture helped me to tune the hammer without re assembling the gun.
