Northend Site Supporters Box
The North End Box is ready for a new home.

Post a simple "in", and I will draw a winner on 3/24/2023.

Located in Lake Stevens

To be eligible:

* You must be a site supporter (make the donation before joining the drawing, click on the yellow "Donate" button toward the top of the page).
* You must be willing/able to pick up the box, go through it, add your contributions, post the drawing and get it to the new person within one month (the sooner the better, but if you don't think you can handle the responsibility of doing this in less than 30 days, please don't join the drawing).
* You must log the items you take/add in a notebook found inside the box. For example, "On 2/28/2015, JohnDoe took one AR magazine and put in 5 AK magazines."
* You must add items of equal or greater value than what you remove (this is important to keep the PIF Box interesting/fun/high value).
* You will take the time to skim the notes in the log book AND take the time to help label stuff in the box. (Especially stuff you put in. If its a brace or handle or barrel or holster or whatever, label it clearly or bag it with a label so everyone can figure out what stuff is without playing guessing games.


New box with mostly all new stuff, some of the old stuff that had some value and a little help from Col_Temp. This box should be back on track and ready for a new home.

I'll be replacing the box. Col_Temp will come over this week to help weed through the stuff and add more!

I'll hop over and help purge and add some more "good" stuff.
The whole point was to make the PIF Box fun and over the years there has been some good stuff but a lot of garbage too.

If it belong at goodwill then that is where you should be donating it!
Last time I had the box we got the South ends trash. About 30% was just that trash. A sawed-off shotgun receiver (which went into the recycling can), two OLD presses that were worth $10 and wieghed 80 pounds, a bunch of misc parts for nothing most people shoot, the usual assortment of holsters and clothing almost no one could use. Had a pair of used army boots in there for a while!.
All of which to say that is the kind of crap that needs to be disposed of NOT in the PIF box.

There is also supposed to be a book in there and if we could get members to start taking 1 or 2 things instead of a bunch and adding solid quality stuff that would help. I've had this box maybe 5 times over the last 8 years and a couple of times there have been some good things I could take one of and some misc stuff I could use. The rest of the time was mostly junk and took little or nothing and added some stuff.
Let's get back to making this something to get and keep it moving. These 4-5 months of the last dude holding the box.
Box coming reeking of smoke (1 time)
Box coming smelling like cat piss (most previous)
Box came smelling like mildew as the dude dumped it in the garage or back of the truck and ignored it for months. (at least once)
Box spread into 3 boxes with trash and clothing better suited for the homeless encampment for rags.
Box with endless useless decals and patches not appropriate for use.

You get the idea. Let's make this fun and something to win so you can get 1 or 2 good things and add one or two good things and pass it on according to the rules.

I bumped the date out two weeks. Who wants it!?!

Bump. Not in as I took the junk and will give it away at Hunters Ed, the range and the gun shows. Added some good stuff that someone might be able to actually use.

It actually is back to being decent. New storage box with the Lid back on it. If we can get people to take 1 or 2 good things and add 1 or 2 good things back in and pass it on might be something worth putting in for.

I'd like to be in. I have some stuff I can add to the box.
