I’m new to the site, new to the state and a fairly aged varmiteer. I haven’t seen any coyotes outside of city limits yet. Maybe they hang out on the east side more?

They are around, you need to find out where the pack cycling route is. They usually have regular routes they use for a bit then move on. Ask people if they hear them howling or yipping.

Cannot tell you specifically where to hunt though. And you are correct, they find easier picking near man.

They are everywhere, but for more traditional, open land calling and sniping, Eastern WA is a more popular option. The public and WDFW lands around Ellensburg are probably the closest for that style.

Greetings and Welcome to WaGuns.
Welcome to Washington.

Eastern WA. will probable be your best bet to find coyotes and a place to hunt them.

We've got tons of varmints on the west side, but most of them don't have four legs. They do slink about in a similar manner, though.

Welcome to WaGuns!
