I have an older milled Arsenal SLR95 that I'm installing the rear lower tang on accept traditional furniture. I have the tang and rivets. I tried to use the bolt cutter setup but the throat of the jaws isn't big enough.
I'm located in Lake Stevens, but willing to make a drive to someone that can set two rivets.
TIA

Worst case i'm local and i've done a number of ak's... My tools are pretty crude and mine rivets arent always pretty. I'd have to look at what i have tooling wise
Honestly you can put the head of the rivet in the die, while in a vise, and drive it with a large headed punch and hammer and it would probably turn out decent as long as you keep things square.

That's the way I did mine. Two sets of hands is very helpful though. I have the right rivet die size and the small bucking bar, just have to find them and it's a long way down here from Lake Stevens.

I have the jaws for the bolt cutter set up, but dies and another set of hands would definitely make it easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
