I've got a stainless, stripped 1911 frame, finished, but flat color that I want buffed to look like nickel to match the slide I'm going to use. Anybody local who can do this?

You can do it yourself with a soft wheel on a bench grinder. Get a good polishing compound, go easy so you don't damage any roll marks, and it'll go fast.
Otherwise I would see if any local machine shops do polishing. Most of those guys are pro-2A and happy to help.
