Hi all, I am the owner of Department of Techne, dotechne.com. Apart from the various parts I made in-house (ARCA plates, bipod adapter, etc.), I'm starting to offer slide milling: https://dotechne.com/slide-milling-for-trijicon-rmr/Currently, I'm only offering Trijicon RMR footprint on double stack Glocks, but will be adding support for more red dots and pistol types. I do not offer coating at the moment, but actively working on getting it setup with partners. The work will be performed on an industry-grade CNC machining center, with integrated probing to ensure positional accuracy. I will ask for the red dot you plan to use to be available so that I can adjust the tolerance 0.0005" at a time for a snug fit. The default turnaround will be one (1) week, alternatively, I'm located between Monroe/Duvall, and plan to offer walk-in appointments so you can wait while it's being milled, and walk away with a milled slide in about 30 minutes. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a PM, or email at derek@dotechne.com. Best, Derek

I think I might have purchased a pair of Kurt DX6 vises from you off of Craigslist. When I came up to your shop to pick them up, you had a great set up.

It's a smaller, but arguably more accurate machine with epoxy granite frame, absolute encoder, and other enhancement over a Haas that can also fit into my garage. The works I do don't need that much travel. :)

From the photos it doesn't look like you leave the rear sight groove? Is that the case and if so is there an option to leave the rear sight groove?
Edit: apparently I can go to the website and it answers the question (yes, rear sight can be left). Crazy how websites have info [emoji38]
