It's been on my list to build a planter in the back yard for a while

Yesterday the wife wanted to 'knock it out' in the afternoon. Yea, it's a little more complicated than that...

Probably the back filled dirt - they look like 8x16x4 stood up on end.

Yup, ~7" above the flat pavers

They were in the back yard of the house I'm remodeling. This seemed like a better use for them

Still need to bring the pressure washer over and clean them up then get some good dirt to plant in

In my experience EVERY wife project is considerably more complicated than they think. It’s like they expect you to magically pull it out of your ass at short notice.

And they never can explain it. "Just put the corner right there................." or the like..........."I want it to curve this way".

Both of which would be $500K in structural engineering alone. $500 for the starving artist. And $700K in materials. :rofl9:

My bar project I did a couple years ago was that way. She saw a small corner coffee bar on Pinterest. That shit is the devil! Next thing I know, I have a bar the width of my dining room.

Made a planter for the wife this weekend. I got a miter saw and table saw so I was inspired. I could have made it with just my circular saw , but these two tools are game-changers. graffwoodshop.com was my inspiration.

Awhile back, my wife asked me to build something for an auction at her favorite charity. So I knocked this together, and haven’t seen it since
