I figured I’d start a thread in here and share my passion. I run a few mills and cut timber of all kinds. I also collect anything timber/logging related, so expect to see some old rusty stuff to!

Old growth fir logs. Then we slabbed them. Then we build the steel legs. Resulting in a beautiful table over 4 feet wide and 8 feet long.

I’ll have to work on my photo posting skills. Those were supposed to be displayed in the reverse order, log-table. Any mods, bored? Feel free to correct if you like. Thanks!

Beautiful material and work! Love it.

I've found much better results from using a 3rd party image host. I use imgur. I do my cropping, resizing and orientation on my computer, and upload to imgur.com. To make sure that I don't get them out of order, I upload at the same time I am writing the post, and insert right after uploading.

can see the high gloss finish on the oddly shaped table but what kind of finish did you use for the dining room table?

Like the picnic style legs.

I love it!

Not a mod, so I'll have to do this in a reply.

The dining room table is just linseed oil. A nice coating of carnuba or other furniture wax is always a good idea to.
