Well let me be the bearer of truth, even if it be bad news! It was horrifying!
I could scarcely believe my eyes and ears. As David and Rita drove up, the little imp put on this sweet smile and started prancing around with a happy look on her face, waving and smiling and singing... Ran around the pickup straight to Rita's door after the engine was shut off and was waving her arms, "Come out, come see me!"
I kid you not. Seriously. You can call home and ask my wife!

There was no sign of the earlier fire and brimstone, smell of sulphur. I don't think that she was demanding (although I couldn't hang around so close, as the sickly sweetness was making me gag, thinking of the innocent David and Rita being fooled like that.)

Right at this moment I am downstairs taking a short break from the labor that I have been assigned and I can hear the Balrog upstairs giving the Dread Princess a hell of a time. That high-pitched voice laughing as her mother is telling her to stop doing something, followed by an evil little laugh of pure delight from Balrog.

This is a verbatim account of a few nights ago, repeated with some variation every day and night:
(Balrog's high-pitched voice, joyful and you can tell intentionally irritating although I couldn't pick out the exact words)
Dread Princess : "No! Piya! STOP!"
Big splash sound
"PIYA! STOP IT"
High pitched laughing sounds as the Balrog splooshes water to encourage her mother to move away from the bathtub.

There was a little bit of giggling downstairs, I regretfully admit.

But back to the topic at hand... The danger is real. The threat to the future of mankind is real.
Do you recall the comic strip Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbs ?
This Balrog is a female version of Calvin.
