Started yesterday. I've replaced a couple power steering pumps over the years, but never gone this deep before .
2001 Chrysler Town & Country. I must say, this has not been fun. The rack itself wasn't so difficult, but whoever designed the hose runs should be shot in the back of the head. This is definitely not something I'd want to do again.
I still have a 12mm wrench, bent into a shape reminiscent of a pretzel, that I had to make for a rack and pinion swap I did 20+ years ago. To get one of the lines off the rack. I keep it as a reminder to never do it again. Good Luck

Got it done.. But had to draft a 2nd pair of hands. It was the parts prices that really chaffed. Remanned rack- $120 High pressure line- $85 Low pressure line- $185 (AND special order item)...WTF???
Ended up making that last one myself with a mix of old parts/new o-rings, and a couple lengths of custom bent stock steel tube and a torch.
