the bottom/lower exterior trim panel is loose, how to fix/tighten it? on a rough road it rattles.

Remove the rattly panel from the jeep. Then call the hulker to haul said jeep away.


Proceed to buy a NON chrysler product next!

go to the nearest (bigger) library (if you can't find the service manual on-line) and look for the service manual in their technical department.

Yup, so the choices are 1) buy new trim piece to replace the one that is rattling, or 2) use some sort of adhesive like 3M double sided tape, silicone, etc.

Replacing the clips that hold it on might tighten it up:

3M tape will also do it if there's enough surface area to stick on to
