we have the forms for the wall footing 99% done. I have to get out there this morning and bend the vertical uprights for the blocks to tie them to the footing....

quick update, we removed the forms and cleaned up the surface

Image

then we used the hoe to remove the excess dirt

Image

I purchased a cheap cement mixer at Harbor Freight.....couldn't find a used one and renting one would pay for a new one several times over

next step is laying the block

We got the wire pulled to the pump house/future shop panel. We have to wait to pull the wire to the existing house panel when the utility is performing their part of the service upgrade.

for liability reasons they won't let us into the existing meter can

no pictures today...it was all hands on deck

getting warm today, so we are headed to the river. One of my new neighbors is taking us for a ride on his boat :thumbsup2:

We are now starting on the wall, we started with the pillar in the corner (SW corner). We will put one of these decorative pillars every 20 feet and at the corners, using split face (rough edge) block

Image

We made some progress before the damn Harbor Freight cement mixer died. So I went to Home Depot and bought the bigger, better one

Image

This morning we hope to get this corner finished and start the other corner
