hell no!....we have swum in the pool, right after it was finished. The pool is not heated, and the solar heater doesn't make much of a dent.
We are having an unusally cold winter here, temps in the low 30's and high 20's in the AM (right before sunrise) then it warms up to 60 degrees or so during the daytime.
We are considering a propane powered heater to extend the swimming season

we got some work done over the weekend (I had Monday off as well)
We poured the footing on Sunday
Then started laying block Monday AM
We still have two rows to put up, just like the back wall, next row is the bond beam (with rebar), then we have grout pumped in, then we put a split face row, then the cap.

Thread needs more:
Project is really looking good, Case. The neighbors are thinking about what you're doing to their property values.

We started on the digging to install the footing for the hot tub, we decided on an elevated platform for a couple of reasons. Anyway, there will be a 7" step up onto the pad then 7" steps to a landing and small deck on the back side of the hot tub (wall side)
Hot tub is 7' square, we went and bought all the plumbing tubing and electrical conduit.
Here is an over-all shot of the enclosure. Making headway, but still a ways to go

It was colder than normal today, barely got to 50 degrees and we had a good breeze all day, but we were able to finish the wall, we got the last two rows on including the rebar.
Next we will order concrete for the hot tub pad and a small section of the walkway, we will order extra to pour into the sections of the wall with the rebar.
The cap for the main part of the wall is 2" thick, the cap for the pillar is 4", the wall sits at 6'4" above grade now

The wiring for the hot tub and LV lighting have been pulled and installed into a juction box
The forms for the hot tub pad are done and ready for concrete
The section of walkway is also ready
and the shower area. We installed a drain. The four posts will support the shelves and the bamboo fencing
