If this happens, I expect this thread to be fleshed out with detailed photos, explanations, and a discussion of any parts with historical significance.

It looks like you can unbolt the bed frame from the wheels? Maybe you could install some kind of riser.

That was exactly my thought. Installing some kind of riser between the bed and the axle brackets. Maybe some treated 2x4 or 4x4 with longer bolts.

Not to discredit the other ideas, this just seems like the easiest approach.

Didn't i say that with the 2x4 idea? Damn Panda Mods. :wink05:
Hey now, I'm a soft-handed white-collar guy, I may have learned basic home repair from my pops but you lose me when you start talking about cutting welds

Along with massive overkill. I want to see a cart that's overbuilt like it was made on a military budget when Republicans control both Congress and the White House.

Easier permanent fix - two pieces of "C" channel steel - 3 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches tall for the rails that make it a piece of "C" channel. Cut to the length of the current supports, and drill holes to mount, let the current supports ride in the channel, longer bolts may or may not be necessary.

Thank you for the votes of confidence, guys. I’m pretty sure I could come up with something ridiculously overbuilt, overweight and completely overboard.

I’m sure locally owned Sick Bike Parts can help motorize that little wagon.
