I am curious on how much ammo everyone is planning on bringing? I don't want to bring too little!

I haven't been to one of these yet, but I personally assume I'll end up doing a lot more talking/bullshitting than I will actually shooting. That being said, it's always better to have too much than to have too little!

More importantly, I don't eat for two days before hand!

I spend more time shooting the shit than shooting guns.

Remember that there will be A LOT of people there, sharing the line. So don't bring your entire arsenal and hog up the benches. Phase it in and out, share a lane, take turns etc.

I don't plan on shooting any of my own guns, just other people's. But I'll have some of mine for those who want to try them.

I brought way too much last year (is there really such a thing?)

IIRC I had a .30 ammo can of 5.56, one of 300blk, and maybe a half one of 9mm

There were a handful of us sharing the bench I was at. We mostly passed things around to try and talked bad about they guy that was shooting behind his back

It's recommended that you supply ammo to shoot someone else's gun. I'm kinda picky about what goes through most of my guns and cans, no steel cased wolf or nasty old surplus. I'm also happy to provide ammo for new people that want to try something out though. Not everyone carries around 300blk in the hope that they'll shoot one.

Pro tip: If someone hands you a tac14 with a 3-1/2" shell in it, don't shoot it

That's a very good summary on all counts.

Is this a private party or do you allow anyone to play?
Where do you hold this get together and when?

This is a yearly shoot put on by WaGuns for WaGuns. Anyone can join in. Here are all the threads on it: viewforum.php?f=142

The only thread that's missing for this year is the food thread. That'll get started soon...

I might bring a decent amount of overstock 7.62x39. So people can feel free to shoot that while we talk bad about them.

I tend to carry too much with me when I go shooting. And then I shoot it all.
