No guts dreadi.... that would be considered "baiting".

Since when can you not bait coyote?

Well I just re-read the regs & did some Google fu...
Looks like you CAN bait coyotes in Wash.... No bait for bears or cougars but apparently for coyotes it's ok?
I stand corrected Mr.Dreadi sir.
I always understood it was no bait here across the board, but technically coyotes are not considered a game species.

Good luck, post some pictures

I believe you can bait deer and elk as well, but that may have changed since I last read the regs.

Foxpro is also what I use,Coyotes are on the move all the time, there one moment gone the next. This time of year is breeding and birthing,so they can be more territorial.

You don't need a hunting license on your own land right? Just not allowed to keep the pelts?

I'd love to try my hand at coyote hunting!

Where did you get that idea from?

Looks like you can't invite friends... Seems a bit silly considering you yourself as a property owner might not have the skills necessary to defend your domestic animals.

It's a fine line, if they are not damaging property and you are just sitting there calling them in it would be hunting.
