Gotta commend the air rifle game and how far it has come. I have hit a coon in the head 3,4,5,and once 6 times with a 22 short before it went down! When I got my wco license a 22 pistol was the always stand by for dispatch. What a waste of ammo. I'm shopping air rifles now just to make dispatch inside city limits easier

But they make a big hole, Straight up ripped half the skull off the one pictured More speed than .22 short-LR But, truth be told, it’s louder than my .22’s But it’s a different sound that isn’t associated with firearms More of a “thwack” than a “bang” Pretty accurate out to 50-75 yds w/ pointed target ammo Most of mine are within 10

Nice pest control. A few tips here. Pellets were / are not designed to shoot over 1000 FPS. Not even close to that. They will be much more accurate at lower speeds. Try to stay under 900 FPS. For pellet brand. Try JSB or H&N pellets. And JSB makes a sampler pack. Of different weights and designs. Just like powder burning firearms and choosing an ammo each shoots well. You will need to do the same with air guns.

Nice work! I know what you mean about loud airgun noise. My Marauder used to sound like a .308. You might want to look up what are euphemistically called airgun "lead collection devices" (LCD's) which serve multiple purposes. Coincidentally when I started using one on my Marauder, it tamed the bark to a whisper. See pic. Attachment: IMG_20200324_56708_kindlephoto-4392776081-1.jpg

I had to take out a possum a week or two ago. It was coming into the chicken pen. And that is off limits to all vermin.

Are you using the cheap-0 glass that came with your whisper? The one that came with mine gives me fits. I think I'll up the game to a PSP gun before I sink money into the Whisper.
