I have never grilled Corn, is it good that way?

I think so!

I spray the corn with olive oil (or you could brush, or drizzle, or whatever), then sprinkle some Greek seasoning on it that I got from Recteq. Good shit.

Then I put it on the smoker at whatever temp I'm cooking other stuff at, or quite hot if it's by itself. Today I was searing (by Recteq standards, haha) the steak, so I put the corn on the smoker when I started it up and left it there while the smoker came to temp, which was about 450. When I thought the corn had just a little bit left, I put the steak on, seared both sides, and set it aside to rest. Then I sliced the steak and pulled the corn off.

I eat it as-is, I don't add any butter or salt as it's already quite well seasoned with the olive oil and Greek rub.

Started with 73/27 ground beef.

Added my own seasoning (onion soup mix, pepper, old bay, etc)

Sautéed shallot, yellow sweet onion, and jalapeno.

Toasted buns.

On a bed of shredded lettuce with mayo, and topped with pepper jack.

Single burner propane stove 'thingy' and a cast iron pan.

It's amazing what you can do with just the simplest of things..

Looks like shit, but tastes amazing... The bread toasted with the juices from the burger...The hint of garlic from the shallots .The sweetness of the onion..The bite of the jalapeno...and the creaminess of the mayo... It's a flavor and texture explosion.

I could do BBQ sauce instead of mayo, and add some jalapeno crisp straws, and I'd have a tex-mex burger...

Edit: I was gonna add mushrooms, but the minimum I could buy was half a lb for 2$...and they won't keep for long.. So I opted not to, unfortunately.

But you don't have the weeenie touch... Gotta have the touch of the weenie to make it work.

You're the one that doesn't like mushrooms, right?

I've shared my 'fold in a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup into 2 lbs of ground beef' trick right?

Pickled eggs. I've never had one, but they sound interesting so I went for it.

I basically followed this recipe, except that I added some Frank's wing sauce in there too, and didn't use any sausage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBYhaNH5cPY.

I'm just gonna throw this out there..... I had a thought sometime in the last week.... has anyone ever tried to smoke cook a hard boiled egg? I was thinking about just setting some raw eggs on the smoker while cooking something else at 225.... I have no idea how long it would take to 'hard boil' it, but the thought of a smoked egg seems intriguing and worthy of trying. I'm kicking myself for not trying it last night when I smoke two chicken breast..... I'll try to remember on the next cook.
