Nice. Wife doing the whole shindig, so I stood back as commanded, then it's like "how come you haven't asked to help?"
That set me free, I smoked the red skin potatoes, then roasted them until brown and tender smelling like apple smoked fries, mashed them with roasted garlic pulp, a little homemade yogurt, salt, butter, broth and olive oil to the smashed tater with skin and roasted bits consistency. Very tasty. Ready to heat and serve.
Will make gravy later

Got the turkey on the smoker by 11:15... need to get busy on gravy now.... Stovetop stuffing and instant mashies makes it easy.

Cooked a turkey for the first time in a decade. Decided to do turkey confit. Turned out so freaken tasty and juicy. The flavor was off the chart. I think this is how I'm doing turkey from now on. Worth it. Attachment: 20211125_151942.jpg

Noodles are tender, and so is the chicken. Probably the best damn chicken noodle soup I've had in a long time.
