I want to hear what you think of the plum ---- I'm confident you'll like them. And I'd I'd trust your take on the almond. Sounds like the wine infusion takes them both to a whole other level!!!

When I ordered last week - I never saw the option for free delivery or pick up - it just defaulted to free delivery for me. YMMV - my BiL for some reason picked store pick up..... Ordered on Sunday - delivered on Wednesday.
By the way --- I gave two drumsticks of the almond - day old - to my neighbor last night --- he said it was BY FAR the best chicken I have given him to date - tasty, yet totally different than anything before.... I reheated my two legs - light nuke and into the toaster oven with my corn bread - I think I over heated it and blew some smoke out..... but it was still REALLY good. I should have stopped with the light nuke....

Thanks for the heads-up. Ordered 2 of the plum and 1 of the almond from HD.
Looking forward to giving them a go.

I used my standard Memphis Rub seasoning that I've added sugar and cumin to. Pretty much all I use on chicken and pork just because I'm so happy with it..... and its cheap - from the $ store - I go thru quite a bit of it. Attachment: 20200516_180636.jpg Attachment: 20220417_103607.jpg I used to mix it 50:50 with sugar, but nowadays I'm running more 70:30 rub to sugar for chicken.... with cumin and extra black pepper - sometimes some ginger or cinnamon. I still run closer to 50:50 for pork. Its nice to keep the seasoning the same so you can really taste the difference in the smoke flavor. Sis sent me some honey mustard rub that I wanted to try, but decided to stick with the old tried and true.....
