The flavor is actually fairly subtle.

Fenugreek is often in curry powders

Can't say I taste marigold.

Grilled it on the gasser. Good. First grilled the garden fresh sunchola maters and green beans. Then corn.

its kinda taste like pepper, mainly a south thing


jb looking it up its a Mediterranean thing taste and smells like maple syrup icon_eek

Interesting.... but I don't think I'll go out of my way to get any....
I cooked up some b/s breasts the other day and I finally used something other than my 'standard' Memphis rub --- I decided to finally break out the McCormicks Montreal chicken and their Garlic Herb seasoning... I gotta say, they were both very nice on the breasts! Gotta work up the nerve to try out their Chipotle seasoning next.

Yeah --- my taste in seasonings is still pretty rudimentary :wink05: . I was planning on just some SPG for the breasts, but that was caked in the bottle and not coming out.

Could be in the waguts thread but lunch was great thanks to my son this morning. Hit Harts lake at daybreak and my oldest scored a personal best yellow perch. Half Louisiana fish fry half coconut crusted after a flour and egg wash bath. Peanut oil is my preference in good cast iron, they weren't even cool to the touch before little fingers devoured them and not a crumb left!
