Okay, I'm getting ready start the name tags.

Please, if you're going to be there and you don't have one yet, let me know in this thread:
Name Tags - New Years WaGuns Shoot.

The name tags are a big help with recognizing and getting to know people, so please help us by getting one!

Thank you!

Does anybody really want a 6' tall (call it 6'2-3" in my hiking boots) Canadian woman, with her left shoulder immobilized via a sling/torture device, and who happens to be mixed-handed, meaning I do some things with one hand that I can't do with the other hand, present at the shootout?

I shoot left. I have only my right (off) hand to work with...I guess on the plus side my horrid groupings with my right hand would serve as an excuse.

So maybe, if can get the time off.

That's how I excuse my comically bad marksmanship....

Has anyone thought about bringing a junk car to one of these and filling it full of lead? We did this 2-3x each year back in New England and it was amazing fun. Especially hitting tannerite in wheel wells. http://dedeporsche.com/tag/comm2a-porsc ... achinegun/

I'm guessing that the board of directors would NOT be okay with that . . . .

Since I am a board member, you are correct.

So I'll be coming down, I may have to leave early though, gotta be in seattle at five.

I can donate some food items, too, I'll probably bring a couple cases of soda like last year.

Is anyone going to have a Sig 238 and or 938 my fiancé can try out? We are trying to figure out a carry gun for her and these are a couple she'd like to try.

I will have both available. Delighted to meet you and your fiancé. I'll be there with my wife and flaming red-haired daughter (think of Merida from Brave).

So how does this work? I've been reading about griddles and BBQs in the past, and people bringing food items. Are people cooking breakfast/lunch at their own tables, creating a community cookout or what?

It pains me not to be able to go to this event. :crybaby:

Several months ago, I committed to taking my wife on a nice romantic getaway. That'll be fun in its own way, but I am bummed I won't be able to meet everyone and shoot the bull about guns all day.

Have fun everyone, be safe, and be sure to get pics and video of the "festivities"! :AR15firing:

We'll have a food area in the parking lot, which is only about ten steps from the shooting benches. Yes, it's basically a potluck for lunch.

Yes potluck and a few folks bring barbecues and other heat / food warming and cooking devices. I have not checked thru all the pages here to see what all has been volunteered so far but if you need something or want to bring something post it up....
