I have close friends in Port Angeles. Every visit to see them is built around arriving and then leaving during Fat Smittys open hours.

On US 101 at the Port Townsend cutoff just before you get to Sequim.

It's a Northwest icon I'm surprised many haven't heard of it, but then again how many of you Northwesterners actually leave the greater Puget Sound region? Ha ha

Solo'd up

and 3/4 never leave a 20mile circle so they miss out on all these awesome spots.

no need to tell about them as if you didn't know you probably wont ever go.

its like a secret handshake if you don't know it you don't need to.

Driven by it at least a dozen times. Been to all corners of the State and everywhere in between multiple times.

"Northwest Icon?" Haha.....I think not.

A Northwest Icon is something like Pike place Market. That's somewhere everyone in the State knows about.

You know, an "Iconic" place.

Maybe you and Ops should go up there together sometime, if you buy him two shakes he would probably drive.

Yeah, i agree with usrifle, it's definitely NOT iconic.

I have friends that liv in both Port Angeles and Sequim that know nothing of the place.

It gained 'notoriety' after somebody back east hit them while on vacation here.

To let someone out of state decide what here is iconic is, somewhat, ironic.

A Northwest Icon? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Pretty sure more people would rather go to Fat Smittys than The market now but you and your people can keep the hemp jewelry and overpriced socialist free trade commerce. It smells like piss and dead fish anyhow.

http://www.peninsuladailynews.com/news/ ... its-walls/

They don't have to beg for it like the market (racket) foundation does. People post the bucks out of kindness. Not guilt or worse, pretentious excess.

I would much rather hit the Market than this place, what the hell are you talking about?

Umm, fresh fish, fresh veggies, fresh flowers, all supporting local farmers & purveyors, or, a greasy burger somebody from New York has decided is iconic FOR me?

LOL......Too funny....

So much disdain from north of Tacoma. No wonder the state is quartering. You go ahead and enjoy Northern California I'll stay with my kind of losers in the free part.
