A bit cheaper, maybe a bit more. Not sure if that much better, certainly not what I want.

Does "Completely shit up one of Dana`s threads" count? If so I mostly did that and played with some choice knives.

Took my boy shooting at Machias. First time at a "real" range and he did great. Shot his .22 at 25 and 50 yards. Took a few shots for him to calm down and listen to what I was saying about breathing and trigger control, but once he got it, he was right on.

Fit the trigger on the 1919 to work with the spade grip. Paddle trigger is so much easier to use. It also rests upright in the safe way better.

Test fired the dead foot arms setup and I’m very mixed with the results. The added 2.2” in length messes up the sight picture I had before and I’m not sure I am convinced spending what I did for the folding stock was worth it. Anyway, I also shot my 1911 Dreadi worked on, so I’ll post in his area my thoughts in a few days. I don’t have pictures from today but here are a couple of the setup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had similar feelings after I put a LAW folding stock adapter on one of my SBRs. Cool gadget, yeah, but it made the gun feel a lot heavier and more cumbersome.

Drove up to Cabela's and picked up the 10" AR500 steel gong and stand that I ordered on Friday. Hopefully it's not a cheap piece of crap. I also wandered through the ammo section and picked up a few boxes of Federal bulk .22, then bought a M-LOK MVG for my 9mm SBR. I should have picked up the vertical grip a long time ago. The gun feels much better in my hands now than before.

In theory, folding and collapsing is good. In practice, it adds a lot of bulk and weight. I'm not generally a big fan of folding stocks unless they are very well done.
