I'll try to be there. Not sure if I'm working yet. Might have a little something to contribute to a raffle too.

Why no .50? Especially on a New Year's shoot... For years the range has had a no .50 rule. This has, as of recently, been laxed and is more on an RSO by RSO call. We (WaGuns) don't want to do anything that may jeopardize our ability to utilize this range for years to come.

golddigger14s wrote: 1. We usually have a raffle as well. So if you have some good PIF stuff bring it. Just so there's no confusion . . . the raffle is a free thing, basically a big giveaway. So yes, as Chuck says, if you have some cool stuff that you think others would appreciate, please bring it! I've started a name tag thread. If you don't have one already and are planning to come on New Years, PLEASE let me know so I can make you a name tag. I know folks usually think, "We don't need no steenkin' badges" but the reality is that the name tags make the day a lot easier for everyone, as you'll probably spend more time socializing than shooting! I still have video evidence of 22 seconds of full fire on the first tannerite without a hit.
COME ON MAN! :)

Why no .50? Especially on a New Year's shoot... I've been to shoots where .50 cal was done right. Away from the group, sort of on an island by itself. And for good reason. The concussion can be very disturbing in close quarters and this shoot...the way the benchs are set up...it's close quarters.
