I will try my best to explain my situation without cussing every 5 mins because I have about fucking had it with this shit. I took my Marathon TSAR to a local watch repair shop back on 10-5-17 to get a good cleaning (behind the screw in crown their is a some muck) and get a new battery even though it didn't need one I thought "what the hell". I handed the watch to the gal behind the counter and as soon as she takes off the back and pops in a new battery she says "why isnt it working? I replied with "It worked fine before I handed it to you" (nicely) and shes is confused and says she will have her repair guy take a look at it later in the afternoon when he gets there. She calls me 2 hours later and says "it is ready and is working great and said the battery connection was kinda messed up but it is fixed". Since then, that the fucking watch that has been super reliable has stopped 3 times and has slowed wayyyyyyyy down Everytime it stopped I simply unscrewed the crown and screwed it back in after setting the time and it seemed to fix it. 12-4-17 It slowed wayyyyy down (25 mins behind) I take it to a different shop here in town and he unsrews the back and notices that the 6 tiny screws in the back of the movement are super loose and tested my battery, Good to go...................................................NOPE 12-6-17 It stopped again and wont do a dam thing except laugh at me.................FUCK ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why cant I have nice things? So can someone please point me in the right direction so I don't have a dam stroke over this. Details on the watch: Marathon TSAR Manufactured January 2009 Battery operated Thanks in advance.

I’ve bought one watch 3 times. An Ironman. Two when in the service and one in the past 15 years. They worked like a charm. I bought them for ~$40 a piece.
Last year I bought a watch from County Comm for $200. I’ve sent it back twice because it stopped working.
I’ve learned my lesson. Expensive doesn’t mean better. If you are rough on your watches then stay with the cheap ones.

Yea know I am right there with with you, BUT I got an incredible deal on this piece and absolutely love it and I am really not that hard on this watch but dam. I used to have a few Fossil watches and everytime it took a shit I would just buy a new.

Jerry's Watch Repair in Seattle is good but, well, it's in Seattle.... There was a guy in Auburn that was good, he's been there, like 40 years .....

I think it's BVP, or something like that. Ukrainian or Russian guy. He had a great rep a dozen years or so ago, when I worked in Auburn. I can't vouch for him, but I've heard good things. He's relatively close, so he's worth chatting up at least, go with the vibe you get. My next thing would be Jerry's, Seattle, probably....or at least call them. There may be something great in Tacoma or Olympia, I just don't know those areas for such things.... Good luck

I believe so, but the site wouldn't load right for me, so I didn't want to post it. I figured if The Zombie could find his Venezualan Gay Monkey Porn online, he could find a watchmaker 12 miles away.... J/k, thanks for posting the link

I was gonna respect your gay watch thread and try to let you get some serious help, but clearly that's not what we're doing here. Next time I tell you I "lost my keys" and ask you to "dig around in there" maybe take your watch off first, hmmm?
