A while back, I blew the ejector assembly completely off my Ruger Black Hawk 41mag. Called Ruger, sent the revolver in and in 15 days it was home, reblued and correct in every way.....I had been shooting this gun for 20 years at the time I sent it in. Out of warranty???

I've only had to call them once and was very pleasantly surprised. After about 6 months of owning it the front sight of my Ruger LC9 came loose and was just sliding back and forth. It pissed me off so I tossed it in a drawer for a year. I eventually decided to do something about it so called up Ruger to see how much it would cost me to get it fixed.
They sent out a brand new slide at no cost and it included a pre-paid mailer to send the old one back.

Not trying to "jump" on a newbie, but trying to emphasize their CS to him and others that they will take care of you.

Well, 3 of your 4 sentences were chastising him, including an emoji, with one in full caps with hella many exclamation points.
If your emphasis was on Ruger, it didn't come across that way.
I'm just trying to encourage newbie posts, not dog you.
