Unless you're waving a gun around, buying a gun, or volunteer to the police that you have a gun the chances of being asked for your CPL are pretty slim.

That being said, I have had a valid WA CWP/CPL since 1983 and have never let it expire.

Mine expired aug 30th.

Just got around to renewing it today.

They said no problem, it's within the 90 days.

I'll let you know when I actually recieve the new one.

Also asked if I keep the receipt with the old permit, would that work for now. They said no.

Oh. And, ten bucks cheaper!! :thumbsup2:

Hate to say if you renewed on time would have saved $20.

They didn't tell me that.

Probably didn't want to see a potentially armed 60 year old white male get frustrated.

Too soon?

Well, today is 30 days since I renewed.

Still not in the mail this morning...

Maybe they figured that since I was a month late renewing, I wouldn't mind if they were a month late getting it back to me... :ROFLMAO:

It was in my mailbox this morning.

Postal time stamp on it was the 6th of november.

I applied for my renewal on the 3rd of october.

There being 31 days in october, they sent the renewed permit only 4 days late.

Wondering why it took a week to arrive via USPS...
