So I've got a little mouse in my castle...
And he is quite bold. He'll pop his head out around a corner, stare right at me.... then if i make a movement toward him, he'll dart clear across the room!
He wont take the bait on a trap, and im running out of patience!
So...
Im wanna get some sub-sonic .22 ammo. Discuss....

Get some .22 bird shot. It's more than enough to kill the mouse but not do any real damage to anything around it.

What are you using for bait? Peanut Butter is usually the best lure.

OR...
Get another mouse and breed them, become a mouse trainer and have them do your bidding.

The pattern at 12-15 feet would be huge, i doubt you would hit it. If you can get the range to 6 feet or less, they work fine. I patterned some LR shot shells, the pattern spread quickly in a rifle, even worse in a pistol.

Bwahahhaa...I was SO thinking that! *I once caught a mouse in a glue trap...he was so big he escaped! Dragged the trap from attic, down the wall, into garage, somehow shook it free, and escaped through the cat door (I found it by stepping on it). This was in between cats so you can't blame on her.

Don't do it. Mice and guns don't mix, especially inside your house. What happens when you shoot a mouse in your house
