Considered obsolete during early production, soon replaced, both had an extremely short service life of any front line rifle. sinus211 wrote: How is it more like an M-14?

Last night - but went to the range for the first time in several weeks. Boyfriend bought himself a revolver, so I got to fire my first 357 Magnum. [emoji2][emoji2] Also remembered how good Sadie (my Glock 19) feels. It was good.

Today - I went out and starting testing and gathering footage of the new LabRadar chronograph, to do a shoot out vs. the other well known chronies....Short version, it works really well - really well.

I learned yesterday I will probably never buy an EAA Witness 10mm. I could barely get a grip on those tiny serrations, and the slippery finish certainly doesn't help. To a longtime Glock and 1911 guy, the grip angle seems wrong. More like the M9, which I never liked. It sucks because I really like CZ75 patterns in concept and the EAA is sort of a very poor man's Bren Ten.
Put some money down on a 100 year old S&W in great shape. Not many like that from that era when guns were tools. Expensive tools, but not babied with white gloves and dehumidified safes too often.

My order arrived today. From a different forum, a seller in Israel was putting up some IDF gear in exchange for bayonets. I sent away a Romanian type II and today this arrived: An IDF sling (two hook attachment, earplug pocket), a small bandage and two camouflage nets - a desert and a woodland.

I loaded up 3 batches of max book load 180 gr HAP bullets, 10mm ammo with different powders: Blue Dot, Long Shot and AA #9. For the AR (not sure I would shoot this in my handguns - probably would be OK). Just going to bring the 10mm AR to the NEGS tomorrow.
The suck part other than being slow, my Lee Bench Auto Bench Prime broke. Futzed with it for an hour plus, then went back to my RCBS hand primer, which is also a piece of shit. I need a better priming method.

Went shooting today. Very happy to hit the 200 yard gong with the 556xiR (7.62X39) with only a 3x red dot, and 100 yard with zero power red dot on a take down 10/22. Finally got my 300 BO pistol zeroed. (Vortex Sparc AR)
