It's the Wilcox flip mount for EOTech / Aimpoint magnifier or a NOD. The advantage of it is that it only takes gross motor skill mount the magnifier. Once mounted the device is always at same location, so the eye relief is taken care of. The disadvantage of it is its cost and that it weights slight more than other simpler mounts. Finally got around to swapping out stocks to the Ace Socom. I miss my m21, but eotech will work for now.

My very traditional LMT the day the tax stamp came. Here with it's Hardened Arms 300 BLK upper: I've got an 8" 300 BLK upper in the works with a 12" handguard... tax stamp for the .30 cal Hardened Arms suppressor is due any day now...
