My little S&W J frame Chief's Special (38 spl) showed up at the FFL yesterday. I snapped a couple of hasty photos last night. A 1971 vintage. This is a shooter, locks up nice and tight. That Tyler grip will stay on, it helps with big hands like I have. I haven't shown it to the wife yet, she is a new shooter that took the women's NRA class and proceeded to shoot my S&W 66-3 like a pro, but the 6" barrel was a big and heavy for her. So I'll surprise her at the range next week-end with this. :)
