I have no idea what I'm doing and basically just take a metric shit-ton of photos trying different things and eventually some come out nice ;-) Also, I do it so infrequently I forget what worked before. Those P7 photos were taken in 2010 or something like that. I tried to take some similar photos recently and failed miserably.

That's pretty much what I do. Never taken a photography class, bought a Nikon D-40 and every once in a while come out with a nice pic. Hahaha

Like the Derringer and early revolver pics - but love the Garand close ups.
Still the greatest battle rifle ever produced.

If so, why aren't they made anymore or any modern country still use them? RENCORP wrote: Like the Derringer and early revolver pics - but love the Garand close ups.

Still the greatest battle rifle ever produced. Because well over 7 million rifles, and bazillions of spare parts were turned out for the rifle. Why build more when several million of the originals are still active ? Phillipines, and US military drill teams still use them. A Phillipino office when asked why use Garands instead of AR's said " Because we don't want to injure or wound the enemy - we want to kill him. "

Charlie, thank you for sharing these as well as the pics you posted in other threads. That first photo with the HK . . . my first thought was, "the rounds are backwards in the mag." Can you tell me more about the derringer and the cap-and-ball revolver?

WOW. Okay, I've got one more for you. What's the silver-color suppressor on the Ruger .22 Lite?
