Serious question. Are these the kind that spill all over the place?

I bought 2.
I don't expect these to be the same quality as the military ones but for $14, they feel solid as hell.
I just read the spouts are bad but I've never seen a good spout. Even NATO. Use super siphons.

I've had two for some time now. No problems. Dreadi, you might have a talk with the operator.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've got a couple of the jerry cans last year with no problems spilling. I assume that's why they are $40 each with a nozzle.

Jerry cans are also metal. They've always been relatively expensive. Here's an old plastic can on eBay. http://m.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CHILTON-2 ... Ciid%253A3Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

EZ pour is the answer: http://ezpourspout.com/Too bad the cans won't work for me. They're metric and everything I need a gas can for is standard... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They're metric and everything I need a gas can for is standard... +1 to that, those things make America great again. Granted, they pretty much double the cost of the gas can, but it's worth it. On those Costco cans though - personally I really prefer big cans to have a side handle too. The top handle is great for carrying, but a side handle sure is nice for pouring so you don't have to hold the bottom of the can. Especially if your cans sit in a corner of the garage like mine with lots of spiders, cobwebs, and who knows what else.

Use Super Siphons. No need to hold, tilt, etc. Just put on a platform that is higher than where the gas is going. 5Gal/min rate.
