Due to logistics and personal schedules. I'm going to do this by appointment only. Best times will be weekends. But maybe weekdays between 4:30pm and 5:30pm. When I'm avaliable. I Will Not Find A Part To Fit Your Needs ! PM me for an appointment. I will be out of town this next weekend for Easter April 15,16. This is Acetron from Quadrant plastics. It's basically a quality Delrin. I have lots of end cuts and drop off and just normal leftover scrap. If no one wants it I'm just throwing it away. Can't keep this junk for ever. Thickness, size and shapes varry. Machines well with basic wood working tools. Pick up will be in north Auburn. Saturday or Sunday. Take one take all. Location is. 301 30th st NE Suite 112 , Auburn 98002 This is a business complex right at the north end of the Auburn airport. Go around back . If you see a green Ford Ranger, I'm there .

Man, I would be 'in' for every bit of that, that I could get... If I could make it there. Can't make it. Consider this a bump.

In please. Wouldn't mind some of that, could probably pick it up tomorrow afternoon, I have to spend the morning and early afternoon in West Seattle.
Could also meet at other times, tomorrow's just currently the easiest for me.

I know I would have a hard time throwing something like that out too but I have a question. I know it just seems like the stuff would be useful but what exactly are everybody's plans for this stuff? Seriously I'm just curious. I feel like I'm missing out on something. What are some ideas of usefulness of this stuff.
EDIT: Okay so I did think of something. If I had one of those Fisher universal sight tools that I've been wanting, I could cut blocks out of the delrin to make different shaped jigs to fit the different shaped sights of the various manufacturers. Right? They sell the aluminum jigs with the tool but they're extra. I'm still curious what everyone else will be doing with it.

You think it would hold up well as gears? Sounds like you have some pretty good ideas.

Including knife handles. Tool handles. Cabinet handles... Many tools and appliances already have gears in them, made of this stuff. Tooled to take the best advantage of the material, and bypass it's drawback of being 'plastic'. It's tough. Resilient. And it's kind of slick. I've used it before, to make spacers to go under carburetors on older vehicles. Do it right, and you can improve the flow. It also serves to insulate the carb a bit, from the heat of the manifold.

In.
I'll be in Ballard on Sunday and can stop by on my way back to Tacoma.
I bet that stuff would make good wear pads for my boom truck. Each one is 2"x4"x.25" but they end up getting shimmed so I could just make them thicker. I think I need 16, maybe 32, I think there are some internally.

Door wedges, Good one. Much easier and nicer than wood. If we keep this up, Survivor is going to decide he doesn't have any to spare, after all. Also can be used as bushings or bearings. Or a plate to reduce friction between two mating surfaces.

Non marring punch They are pretty slick but do make a good riser if you need to lift something. I wouldn't put them on a truck though. I tried them with a sight pusher and the push rod pushed right on through and the sight didn't move.
