You know how it is, in every crowd "there's always one". Today I was the "Designated One" who failed to read the entire line with start and end times.

Good thing you answered my PM real quick.

I'm super glad to have finally met my Southern neighbors at last. A great bunch of guys and pretty well behaved. Nobody stole my bacon

Looking forward to when I'll have time to attend the next one (and will pay closer attention to the start time :facepalm2: )

Early Congrats. Hope all goes well.

Does remind me of a joke/story from a while ago. A Sailor was asking for leave so he could be with his wife when she delivered their new baby. It was denied with an explanation from the Captain: "I can see the necessity of you being there for the keel laying but fail to see the necessity of your being there for the launching. Request denied".

We had a great turnout this morning, and an excellent BS session. Many of us headed to the Centralia show after breakfast, so we continued the chatter there.

A couple of pics....

Clockwise from the left side: Chevytruckman, toys in the toybox, cdoniguian, cdoniguian's son Lucas, mini-Massivedesign (Ryan), Massivedesign and breakfast virgin deadshot2.

Image

Clockwise from lower left: Lamrith, PMB, O_Kellogg, olydemon and then that camera whore chevytruckman again.

Image

Not shown: PrincesSKS and Priya, who were walking around so that PrincesSKS wouldn't get fussy. Me, because I'm right under the camera. And dan360 because he's a big loser and didn't show up.

That was a good time. Three tables filled, so I was asked to sit at another table "just a little bit over there". Kind of a bummer that my table was around a corner in another room, but it was ok.
Between deadshot2 on the north end and the three of us coming from the south- over 200 miles presented.
It was like WaGuns Christmas in the parking lot. Boxes and machines and small baggies of something that looked like a white powder were being exchanged out there like it was Christmas morning. I always enjoy the parking lot after a big get together. WaGuns schwag was flying like flags... Black flags with some white symbol on it. Kind of reminded me of another flag I've seen in the news but I disremember which.
All the WaGuns schwag in the parking lot made it easy for the real Santa (Barfly) who came rolling up in his big white sleigh. Mr Barfly chose to help a friend with some tractor work on a driveway rather than feast on bacon and other sundries in a warm dry restaurant that morning- helluva guy. He came rolling in, saw the unruly looking bands of sullen faced rowdies flying their black and white flags and must have thought "those look like my kind of people." He stopped in the middle of the parking lot at the thickest knot of the unorganized militia, jumped out of his truck and said "Which one of you is PMB?" I started crying thinking that my number was finally up, so he was able to pick me out pretty easily. "Quit crying you big baby. I have a delivery from the Great White North for you- Bearhunter sends his regards." He pulled out a big box for me and tossed it - I staggered under the weight, but thankfully Kurt steadied me and I didn't fall. Then he pulled out another big box! Mercy! Kurt offered to carry the 2nd box which must have been MUCH lighter because he carried it in one hand while continuing to steady me with the other. (Strange, when I got home and unloaded [thank goodness for forklifts] Kurt's box was the same as mine. That guy is a beast.)
Thanks Bearhunter99 and Barfly for the goods and delivery. :cheers2: Then Santa Barfly hopped back in his ride apparently to continue his good and charitable works and sped away - it reminded me of
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
There was another 20-30 minutes of militia action in the parking lot then most of us headed down to the Centralia Gun Show to blow our hard earned allowance. The stronger amongst us went home to set up Christmas decorations instead. Hmm. haha
As we rolled up in the parking lot we realized that we were a little bit late to another Centralia Gun Show Firearms Giveaway. Folks were staggering under the heavy loads of guns and ammo as they streamed out of the building, a few of the more resourceful groups dragging what looked like those Native American travois piled high.
We got to visit with with Marcus P, Rencorp, Thede&Co, Chet, et al. Good group there at Centralia.
Mr MadPick attempted to talk me into the suicidal action of purchasing a new-to-me caliber while The PrincesSKS was out of earshot. Nice try Steve, but I learned my lesson after the last time you did that and she castrated me with a dull butter knife.
(I wasn't aware that cauterization with a propane torch was required before and after castration, and then once a week for 2 months thereafter, but she insisted on it to prevent infection. Good woman. )
Marcus and Rencorp hooked us up with powder, primers, tools, and CCI ammo. Put greasy fingerprints all over a few more guns around the show. Alas, did not pull the trigger on guns this time. They're dangerous anyway.
My goodness, the rain yesterday was something, eh?
Made it home in the evening, just in time to start a fire and have the cave warmed up for a good friend of 3.8 decades and his wife. We ate popcorn and bullshat the evening away until almost midnight. His wife was concerned about their ride turning into a pumpkin (killjoy) so here comes to a rest the story of our Breakfast-Gunshow-BullshatSession of ayer.

In the Tulalip store you could take him one of these and it would be fully grown by the time your number gets called  :rofl9:

Wouldn't be bacon yet but at least it would be fresh :hangloose:

Didn't realize before I bought my first rifle there that buying one was almost a day long job. And I even knew what I wanted and the fact that they had it in stock (checked online first). I think it's an insidious plot to further empty one's wallet by forcing them to kill time in all the other departments as well as stocking your cart with all the accessories you think you'll need for the rifle.

Steve tried to lure me in his car. He told me he had a blacked out 15 passenger ford conversion van. Liar. #strangerdanger. Instead I got in my #vwtdigate passat and rode off into the afternoon only to go home and finish up my dryer vent issue.

Thanks to all for attending, great bs session and look forward to next month

"Dryer Vent issue", really means; "My pussy is so whipped you can serve it via a pressurized can. "

From those pictures I see lots of coffee, and a beer. Were you guys drinking beer at 0900 on a Sunday? Hard core.
