Potentially dumb question, but did you get that guy with a .223 Dreadi? With the recent thread on .22cal used for "larger" game, I'm just trying to make heads or tails of the hunting regs? Also sending you a PM, thanks Dreadi

That deer was taken with 6.8 SPC. Edit: No .223 for elk, deer, bear, moose, pronghorn, antelope, mountain goat, and bighorn sheep.

Gotcha. I need to recant what I said earlier. No .223 for elk, deer, bear, moose, pronghorn, antelope, mountain goat, and bighorn sheep.

Shot this busted up guy on the last day we were hunting. He has three broken tines. 480yards. Dropped him in his tracks. The 2 point came over to see why his buddy laid down. My buddy dropped him right next to mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shot this black-tail late today,Dec. 9th, with my muzzle loader, on our property, up the hill in the back 40. The 350 grain Barnes, all copper trash can went through both lungs. I included a picture of the wound. Now for an elk.
