You are all invited to the 5th Annual New Years Shootout, Planned for Jan 1st, 2017! Each year, this event gets bigger and better. There is a lot of shooting, but also a lot of just hanging out and having a good time. We don't expect this year to be any different and hope you all can join us! Where? At the Evergreen Sportsman's Club ( MAP) We will have exclusive use of the covered and benched 10-11 position 100-yard range, as well as the use of the covered and benched 25 yard pistol bay. When?January 1st, 2017 from 10am-4pm (shooting will be allowed from 11am-4pm) Why?Why the hell not! How much? Not a damn penny! WaGuns is going to cover all of the range fees. We're going to use the money that we earn from the Google ads that you see at the bottom of the screen on both the full site and the mobile site. In the course of a year, we make roughly enough money to pay for everyone's range fee on New Years Any additional details?A few; Small stuff:- All Shooters are required to sign a waiver provided by ESC.
- No .50BMG (I know, I know.. but it is, what it is)
- Single port-a-potty is on site
Targets:- Target stands that accept 1x2's will be there for us to use. There will be a limited amount of sticks and cardboard on hand, so no guarantees.
- No trash / refuse to be used as targets.
- Steel is okay, and echoes nicely.
- Tannerite is allowed!!.
- Pack out what you pack in.
Range Rules:- Gun safety is #1!
- Standard Range Rules will apply and will be posted
- Anybody who is unsafe with firearms will be asked to leave
- No loaded guns allowed behind the shooting area
- No handling guns during cold range
- The range will be run by WaGuns and hand selected RSO's.
Capacity:- TONS of parking is available
- Rifle - With 10-11 benches / stalls in the rifle range, that section can comfortably house 22 shooters (2 per station)
- Pistol - 3 benches can fit 6 people
- Plan to rotate around, share stations
- There are rifle racks and counters behind the shooting station. Plan on sharing racks and counter space
- Tents/EZ-Ups. Bring em if you want/can. You won't be able to shoot out of them, but it would be a good place to hang out while others shoot.
Food:- BYO... Food and beverage. I am sure we will have a thread shortly about a BBQ
- This is a no alcohol facility.
New Years Shoot Potluck Thread : viewtopic.php?f=60&t=76466Sign up to bring some chow or supplies for chowing. I am sure there is more. Please contribute to the poll above if you plan on coming. Comment as well if need be!

Can't make it, but I can send somebody with a Trapdoor Springfield if I can be assured of proper low pressure loads being ran through it.

It would be good for me and I have other reason to be in that neck of the woods.

I'll be a definite NO. Jan 1 is my Birthday, ever year, for the last 73. My family keeps me home so we can all eat cake and ice cream. Lately we have had a little problem with the smoke detector. I wonder, could it be the just over 6 boxes of candles she put on the cake?? Have fun guys. If it was on the 2nd I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Woo hoo! Finally a Sunday when I'm not at work. Planning on being there.
Maybe a breakfast meet-up for folks heading down there from the Seattle area?

I will have .22LR ammo, Thrive Freeze dried food, Subaru swag, and a bunch of misc. for the giveaways. I'm sure Steve will have some goodies, and all are encouraged to bring some PIF type items. I will bring one 6' folding table, and a pop-up. Always a great party. The food will be pot luck, and so will be the weapons. So think about types of guns to bring. I will start with a Tommy Gun.
