Well here's the crown jewel for me. Unfortunately I don't have a better picture at the moment. My wife's ancestor: Moses A Armstrong of the Tennessee volunteer infantry 6th regiment B company used this 1844 Springfield in service of the Union army in the civil war.

AFAIK, that is a Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. Still doing research on it, but it seems that is an early date, real deal, non-repro Colt.
