I spent like 5 minutes staring at the thing and I'm starting to think you may be screwing with me.

Oh like I really trust you not to screw with me also.
The only spot it could be on the right side would be the chamber of the barrel at the ejection port.

Very nice! My father in law has one of those Remmington Rand 1911's. Super cool old piece.

All right, this thread needs a shot in the arm, and I just bought a new toy today from chasesdad.
It's an Erfurt police Luger in caliber 9mm Luger, made in 1918. Let's get to the pics:
The "double date" means that the gun was made in 1918, but was later given the
1920 Property Mark.
So far the gun appears to be all-matching. The number on the rear of the frame (2931) is a property number that was added; it is not a serial number.
It's been a few months . . . does anyone else have an old pistol to share??

Here's a Soviet 1932 Tula Mfg. 1895 Nagant Revolver. It is pictured with a Leather WWII-Style Leather Holster , a 14-Round Box of 1978 Production 7.62x38mmR Ammunition, Generic Pistol Belt, and what appears to be an old Soviet Pattern Handgun Lanyard.
