I spent like 5 minutes staring at the thing and I'm starting to think you may be screwing with me.

Oh like I really trust you not to screw with me also. [-x The only spot it could be on the right side would be the chamber of the barrel at the ejection port.

All right, this thread needs a shot in the arm, and I just bought a new toy today from chasesdad. thumbsup

It's an Erfurt police Luger in caliber 9mm Luger, made in 1918. Let's get to the pics:

The "double date" means that the gun was made in 1918, but was later given the 1920 Property Mark.

So far the gun appears to be all-matching. The number on the rear of the frame (2931) is a property number that was added; it is not a serial number.

It's been a few months . . . does anyone else have an old pistol to share??

Here's a Soviet 1932 Tula Mfg. 1895 Nagant Revolver. It is pictured with a Leather WWII-Style Leather Holster , a 14-Round Box of 1978 Production 7.62x38mmR Ammunition, Generic Pistol Belt, and what appears to be an old Soviet Pattern Handgun Lanyard.
