Tentsile Tree Tents were conceived as treehouses that you can take anywhere. Our "tree tents" offer an incredible new way for you and your friends to experience a whole new level of Freedom.

Separated from wet, lumpy, bumpy, uneven ground and with increased protection from snakes, bugs and other creepies, our range offers the opportunity to camp in places no one has ever camped before.

I believe you must buy directly from their site. These are offered for the same price on Amazon (with limited quantities). Discount codes do not apply to "Bundles"

Really cool young. But at that price I can't. I showed these to the misses today and she really thought the kids would get a kick out of them

Sure thing.

Yes, they are pricey... but here's where I'm coming from.

I was looking at building a tree house on some acreages (well, convincing the in laws to build a treehouse on their huge plot)...
Some of those treehouse builds are freakin' in the $10,000+ range

So, paying $850 for their complete combo kit... seemed a bit more reasonable... :wink05:

BTT...

The simple hammock design is interesting to just use as a summer pad for laying around.

These tents look like the end result of me trying to get into a regular hammock, after I get all wrapped up in it and my sleeping bag. I look like i'm in a giant cocoon waiting to hatch

Can you picture this? A tensile tent is hung between a single tree on one end and two springy trees on the other end. The support rope on the single tree end is pulled so tight it pulls the two smaller trees back. Wait until the occupant is all snugged in and then cut the single support rope. "TWANG" and the tent and occupant is launched. Great for an unruly kid or soon to be ex. :wink05: :wink05:

REI and Amazon have a few but do a search and camping specialty forums will pop up reviews.
Also one of the major networks featured them a few years ago.

I'm not on my computer otherwise I would provide links.

Basics of reviews - great different aspect to camping but pricey. If you look from the perspective of treehouse and different and can look beyond cost... The Tentsile tents is right for you.
